The goal of this Module is to offer Bilingual teachers an understanding of the Discursive and Pragmatic Competences they should have in order to better assist their students in the development of their communicative competence in the native and target languages.

 

 

Objectives:

 

• Bilingual teachers will distinguish the Discursive and Pragmatic Competences and its application in the bilingual classroom.

 

• Bilingual teachers will recognize the Discursive and Pragmatic Competences in Spanish.

 

• Bilingual teachers will recognize the Discursive and Pragmatic Competences in English.
