In order to accomplish these objectives, please convey the following actions: 1 watch the video about Student-centered Learning. 2. Read the website and then watch the four videos on Learning Strategies by Diana Murphy, Associate Director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Language Institute. 3. Read the presentation about Techniques with Strategies by Dr. Armando González Salinas from the School of Philosophy and Arts at Nuevo León State University, in México. 4. To answer activity number four refer to Dr. Armando’s presentation, slides nineteen to twenty three. 5. Answer the Multiple Intelligences and the learning styles tests to find out about you strengths in learning.

Activity 3:  Presentation: Techniques with Strategies:

 

Read this presentation ( slides one to eighteen ) which considers the importance of incorporating language learning strategies in the second language learning classroom.

Activity 4: Practicing the reading skill through the use of learning strategies.

 

Based on Dr. Armando González presentation ( slide nineteen to twenty two ) complete activity N° 1 on slide twenty three which provides an example of practicing the Reading skill through the use of learning strategies.

Activity 5: Multiple Intelligences and Learning Styles tests

 

Answer the questionnaires on both Multiple Intelligences and Learning Styles to learn about how you learn. These tests can be used by teachers to find out how their students learn and based on the results prepare lessons based on what teachers know about their students in these aspects.
